Its ski area, the Espace San Bernardo, is one of the largest ski areas in the Aosta Valley thanks to its ski-on ski link with the resort of La Rosière on the French border, which offers many kilometres of slopes served by 38 lifts. It is possible to ski on both sides of the Alps, up to an altitude of 2,800 metres with the new Mont Valaisan and Moulin chairlifts on the French side with a single ski pass. The ski resort can be reached from the centre of the village by cable car or the Bosco chairlift express. This ski area offers an extraordinary variety, from slopes and playgrounds for children to runs through magnificent scenery for those who enjoy admiring the view while skiing, and of course the mythical Franco Berthod piste n°3, with a maximum gradient of 73%. The slope, for experts only, reaches La Thuile after 4 km of descent. In the recent past, the picturesque and challenging downhill has hosted several World Cup races and in 2020 and on 29 February and 1 March, it will again host two women´s World Cup competitions: a Super Giant and a Super Combined.
