Monterosa Ski unites three alpine valleys in a single ski area, in view of the Monte Rosa massif and the Mont Avic natural park between the Valle d´Aosta and Piemonte regions.
It has always been popular with the most demanding skiers thanks to the carefully maintained piste and the excellent technological standards of the lifts. 100 kilometres of pistes and 8 alpine towns and villages (Antagnod, Alagna, Alpe di Mera, Brusson Estoul Palasinaz, Champoluc-Frachey, Champorcher, Gressoney-La-Trinité, Gressoney- Saint-Jean) which can be accessed with a single ticket and link the valleys, equipped with 765 artificial snow coverage points, thus offering skiers around 100 km of pistes even when snow is scarce. Champoluc- Frachey – The Champoluc area is part of the Monterosa circuit. Numerous slopes of varying difficulty run through its pistes, allowing all types of skiers to find what they are looking for
here, from beginners to experts. Champoluc and Frachey are the starting points of an enchanting route that takes visitors skiing to Gressoney and Alagna, in the other two valleys that complete the Monterosa ski area. Its numerous ultra-modern ski lifts lead to the 2727 metres of altitude of the Passo di Bettaforca, where they link up with those of the Gressoney Valley. From the Cresta (1935 m), the lifts go to Monte Sarezza (2820 m). The slopes are equipped with a modern artificial snow cover system that allows skiing throughout the winter until late spring.
